The Lemon Bay High School Theatre

Hi Everybody... This event occurred on April 18th, 2009 in the Lemon Bay High School Theatre on Placida Road in Englewood Florida. This show had already played here back in November of 2008... and there are lots of pictures of it on this website at that link... but the show was so well done, that they were chosen to go to the State Championships in Tampa again here in April of 2009. So they decided to do the play again here in Englewood to raise some of the money that they would need to take all these kids to Tampa for the weekend.

Above is a picture of the group that I took back in November. This enlarged photo, signed by the entire cast was raffled off to raise some of the money, as well as a silent auction and other interesting raffle items donated by local businesses. Special thanks should also be given to all the local non-profit organizations that donated to this worthy cause.

Before the show, they also had a very nice dinner buffet for $25 per plate in the theater lobby to help raise more money and awareness of the show

Below are just a few scenes that I photographed. I chose to display these photos, out of 100's of others, because of the excellent lighting and composition in some of the sets that I thought were the most spectacular.
