This event was a benefit for the
Boca Grande United Methodist Church
and for Children's Missions in Florida and around
the world.

The entire festival was basically about strawberries...
and even more importantly... their famous Boca Grande version of
Strawberry Shortcake

The candy striped volunteers were great at posing for me

They even offered me a FREE shortcake for my efforts...
but I told them I didn't want to get too sticky so early in the day
and that I'd come back

When I finally went back for some shortcake for myself that afternoon,
there was another whole crew working the strawberry table,
so I photographed them also

After finishing a really, really delicious dish of shortcake
I wondered around photographing everyone else enjoying the great strawberry
feast.
