Steven's the Florist South

This Englewood Chamber event was held at Stevens the Florist South 3455 S. Access Road, Englewood Florida on Wednesday
August 13, 2008. The following pictures are in the
approximate order that I took them.

Visit Stevens the Florist South
for the freshest flowers in Englewood Florida

The food was plentiful and fantastic. I went back for seconds and thirds on the BBQ ribs and some of the snacks :)

Everyone enjoyed the wide variety of food that was offered

Of course there were fresh cut flowers everywhere

But this cooler of "Hurricanes" was one of the most visited areas

They even came with colorful little fruit filled umbrellas

Always a Chamber of Commerce volunteer to greet folks at the door

Then I noticed the beautiful driftwood fountain display and thought about how beautiful some of these girls would look standing in front of it...

So I went to work capturing the combined beauty of the two

Linda Stevens spoke to the crowd and offered several big beautiful
flower arrangements as door prizes for her guests

There were lots of other door prizes given out

and the 50/50 prize was over $100 in cash

From that point on... I just roamed about and took some more portraits

Then all of a sudden I noticed how much black and white
there was in the room (not to mention some very nice shoes :)

All these designs are photogenic all by themselves

But a touch of red and green are a nice contrast

Add a little gold and everything is even more beautiful

Then of course there are those that just have to be different :)

Of course all these parties have an after the party party...

And since there were still some of that Hurricane mix hiding in the bottom of the cooler... everyone had the opportunity for one last sip...
Ahhhh definitely good to the last drop :)
