* Grande Opening Celebration
July 12, 2008  Miss Cindy's Fish Market & Deli had their grande opening celebration.  While this Placida fish market has been open for years... the addition of their new "Deli" has added a whole new reason to visit.

 
 
 
The giant Kix Country Balloon was set up on the street at the intersection of 771 and 775 in Placida Florida to attract local attention

 
 
 
And the KIX Country van was parked outside the fish market to draw more attention and to provide some great country music

 
 
 
Inside were some great seafood samples for everyone to try. 
My personal favorites include their fresh, fresh fish and shrimp... 
their tasty new crab cakes and their very special smoked fish pate'

 
 
 
 
Their new deli case offers a wide variety of tasty treats including things like seafood salad, country potato salad, marinated artichoke hearts and mushrooms, shrimp macaroni salad, bread pudding, smoked mullet spread, home made crab cakes and Killer Key lime Pie !

 
 
 
Of course Miss Cindy's always has a wide variety of fresh 
"Wild Caught" fresh fish and shrimp

 
 
To keep things interesting Miss Cindy's Fish Market and Deli was offering a chance to win some really 
great prizes

 
 
 
 
Theresa Evans from Clear Channel Radio was handing out the 
FREE chances to everyone who came through the door... 
And KIX Country added their own little prize of 
"A Decade of FREE GAS"
to anyone that could match the Kix Country Computer lotto number
with the last 6 digits of their drivers license... 

 
 
 
 
Bob Alexander of the Bob & Todd morning show was there to 
MC the event live from Miss Cindy's Fish market and even got 
Miss Cindy herself to say a few words on the radio
While Miss Becky hung out with Tim McGraw by the Kix 92.9 
Country Van and listened to her mom on the radio

 
 
I interviewed this couple and asked if I could photograph this 
scrumptious looking sandwich they had just purchased

 
 
 
 
Now does that look tasty or what ?????
