Gasparilla Marina was the host for the Charlotte Builders and Contractors Assoc $20,000
"Bounty on the Harbour Inshore/Offshore catch & release fishing tournament .

There was time to kill as I waited for the anglers to come in and weigh their catches.
And since I sometimes get messages from the girls who view my photo pages saying
"Hey, why don't you take more pictures of guys instead of just pretty girls?"
I thought this would be a great opportunity to photograph some fishermen.

The security at the weigh-in table was so tight, that I had to
take my fish photo's from the opposite side of the marina

But there were a few pretty fisher-women... so I couldn't resist.

Of course there are always Pirates at Gasparilla Marina.

The girl on the bottom right was supposed to be walking the plank...
but it appears she changed her mind.  Lucky piling.

The Smoked Mullet Band kept the party going with a variety of great tunes

But Gwen Hahn of Palm Beach Gardens, who is also the I.W.F.A.
(International Womens Fishing Association) Vice President,
was surely the "Catch of the Day" when she said  "Yes"
to Gasparilla Pirate and marina CEO Bill Gregor's marriage proposal.
