on Dearborn Street in Englewood. Stop by the first Saturday of
every month for another great car show... and if you've got an oldie
or a goodie sitting around in your garage... bring it with you :)

This is a 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint. It has a 302 V8 with
the best of everything bolted onto it. 4 barrel carb, 4 speed trans,
and 411 gears...
It was just like "Happy Days" back then and there could easily be over 100 hot rods on the "strip" at any given time... It's not in good enough shape for car shows anymore... but it's still a whole lot of fun to drive ! It only gets about 8 miles per gallon... but back then, gas was only 25 cents a gallon... so nobody cared. It was all about speed. I've had to tame her down a bit for these streets... but she's still plenty fast ! Soon you will start seeing her pretty face on the streets of Englewood. |
