The Englewood Shell Club was formed in 1996 to bring together people interesed in seashells.  They meet monthly from October - April 
at Lemon Bay Park.

 
 
Wilder Things creates some great wood carvings. 
I especially liked these red-headed woodpeckers.

SHORE - Southwest Historical Organization of Resources and Education Serving the Golden Triangle of Englewood, El Jobean and Placida.  The group wants to honor our heritage, promote historical education and preserve the history of the area.  (941) 475-2696

 
 
New to me.  Ye Olde Miners Pasty Shop at 180 N. Indiana Avenue in Englewood sells a delicious little pasty meat pie.  (941) 474-0277

 
 
Fun crafts and games kept the kids occupied. 

 
 
Suncoast Writers Guild was established in 1990.  They meet 3 times a month at the Englewood Art Center.  Here they are displaying a new magnetic word game.  For more information call:  (941) 697-7255
