The front of this building is very unusual... and worth the trip just to see it.
You know those little fountain type things you can buy for your wall where the
water runs down a piece of slate and is recycled over and over giving you a
relaxing trickling sound? Well the entire front wall of this building is one of those.
And inside there is another.

WINK 96.9 radio station was there as DJ for the celebration. Above Shannon Holly talks live on

Inside, entertainment director Jaime Ogden prepares the finishing touches

Note: the lighting in this place was turned waaaaay down to set the mood for the Boom Boom Room...
so some of these photo's may seem a bit grainy. However... it was an excellent chance for me
to get creative with the little bits of natural lighting that existed...
which eventually created some really great, artistic photographs. You'll see.

Inside the front doors, I was greeted by these lovely young models, Laura Harrison & Kandece Goings...
who had a few minutes to pose for me before the doors opened at 9 p.m.

One of the coolest decorations of the event were these 3 models, 2 painted in stone and
one painted in bronze, who "still posed" as statues all during the show. You'll see more
pictures of them "at work" on the following pages.

These are just a few of the first people I met as I walked around the Boom Boom Room for the first time.
People always ask "who I'm with" when they see the big camera I'm carrying around.
I tell them "I'm a freelance photographer who covers local events and then takes the best pictures and puts
