The Englewood Bank Art Show

This SW Florida event was held on January 26th and 27th at Englewood Bank at
1111 Indiana Ave. in Englewood Florida.

I spent a few hours there on the 27th meeting the artists and photographing what I thought were the most interesting and photogenic booths so that I could share it with everyone while offering these SW Florida artists some FREE advertising for participating. If you see anything you like, feel free to contact the artists directly... and don't forget to tell them you found them here.

On the sidewalk next to the main entrance was a display from the Lemon Bay Historical Society. They were having a drawing for lots of great prizes and passing out literature about their organization.

Also on the sidewalk was Englewood Bank Employees offering
a FREE drawing for a $50 gift certificate to Farlow's Restaurant

Walking around the Englewood Bank Art Show, I visited some old friends
and made some new ones... and offered them all a chance to be photographed
with their artwork for FREE and added to this Englewood website. Below are
just a few of the many artists present at the Englewood Bank Art Show

Nokomis Artist Thomas Krause creates original marine & wildlife art / limited edition prints. I asked if had to SCUBA dive to realize all the detail he would need for such a fantastic oil painting and he said he did. Englewood Artist Esther Horton paints furniture and lots of different surfaces. This wall mural is just a piece of artist canvas that can be rolled up and put away. (941) 474-2007

Linda Molto taught me a new word when I asked how this beautiful artwork was created. Serigraphy! Sort of along the same lines as silk screen for T-shirts only much more complicated. Thank you for a new word Linda. Serigraphy. Hmmmm I'll have to practice that :)
